House of Shalom Liberty Church started in our living room in Kingwood, Texas. We began in September 2022 with just about seven people. Then, in April of 2023, God opened a way for us to obtain a building through a friend. We were not looking to move into a building yet, but God had another plan. His plan for us is to open a church in Liberty, and here we are, beginning this journey and advancing His kingdom in Liberty, Texas.

Pastors Cheryl and Gabe

Pastors Cheryl and Gabe have served the Lord for over 20 years and love to serve. Two years after Gabe and Cheryl married, they began growing their family through adoption. Today, they now have nine children, four grandchildren and counting. Gabe has a Master in Chemistry, and Cheryl is studying for a Bachelor of Science degree in ministry. They both desire to help others to come to know Jesus in a personal way.

Ministry Leader Fran

Fran prays for the nations and teaches the word. She has been a disciple of Jesus for over 30 years. Her heart is to hear from God and share His heart with others. She is a worshipper, an intercessor, a teacher of the truth and revelation of His word, and operates in the prophetic. 

Ministry Leader Tammy

Tammy was radically saved and delivered from drugs and alcohol 11 years ago. In 2014 she was baptized in the Holy Spirit and has since been a radical lover of Jesus, singing and worshipping the Lord wherever she goes. Tammy has been a waitress at Denny’s for over 15 years and she loves spreading Jesus’ love all around by praying for her customers and coworkers. She has two children and two stepchildren. 

Secretary Abigail

After serving 5 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, Abigail now joyfully handles administrative and creative tasks for the church. She’s been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit since she was a little girl and loves serving in any capacity that she is able. Her desire is that everyone come to know Jesus personally, and embrace the fullness of His love and complete freedom in Holy Spirit.
